LABCULTURA.RS and the Paulo Gustavo Law: mapping and impacts of cultural projects in Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil

This article examines the activities of LabCultura.RS, an initiative aimed at mapping the cultural projects developed by the Department of Culture of the State of Rio Grande do Sul through the Paulo Gustavo Law (LPG). The study presents the Data Dashboard and the methodology employed in its development, in addition to analyzing the overview of projects submitted to and funded by the LPG in the state. Furthermore, the profiles of the 43 projects selected under public call SEDAC/LPG No. 12/2023 - Artistic Creation are described, as well as the impacts of these public calls on the cultural economy.
